Heavy Equipment Field Repair, Shop Repair & Parts for Any Make
Our 10 field service trucks leave our yard in Fernley to repair machines of any make anywhere in Nevada, and in California from Sacramento to Bakersfield. A technician usually reaches the machine the day after you call, and sometimes the same day. Our parts department works from the same yard, where it stocks XCMG and SAS parts and orders aftermarket parts for most other makes.
Mobile Field Service, Line Boring, Hydraulic Repair & Structural Welding
Our own technicians do all four kinds of work, from our shop in Fernley and from our crane service trucks. When you cannot tell which repair the machine needs, describe what it is doing in the request form below, and the technician finds the fault at the machine before anything is priced.
Mobile Field ServiceA technician brings the tools and parts for the job to your jobsite, quarry, or mine in a crane service truck. The technician repairs the machine where it stopped and puts it back the way the factory built it, so you do not have to load it on a lowboy and haul it to a shop.
Arrival Times, Field Call Billing & Parts Approval
A field call is billed for travel time portal-to-portal, from our Fernley yard to the machine and back, plus a flat-rate call-out minimum that covers getting the truck there and the first diagnosis. Every repair beyond that is priced after the technician has found the fault.

Next-Day Arrival, Sometimes Same-Day
A DBM truck usually reaches the machine the day after you call. The machine makers’ dealers in the region often quote one to three weeks to get a technician to a job. At a mine or on a jobsite where one stopped machine holds up the whole crew, that wait stops the work.
The office picks a truck based on where the machine is and what repair it needs, and tells you which day the technician will arrive. When every crew is already out on a job, our founder takes a service truck out himself. A request sent after hours is answered the next day.

Machines Still Failing After Another Shop’s Repair
When a machine still fails after someone else’s repair, our technician diagnoses it from the beginning instead of repeating the earlier work, so the next parts you approve are for the fault the first repair missed.
List the parts already replaced, any fault code on the display, and what the machine does now. The technician uses that history to rule out what has already been tested before recommending any more parts.

Parts Cost & Lead Time Approved Before Ordering
Once the technician finds the fault, we call you with the component that failed, the parts cost, and the lead time. Nothing is ordered until you approve it.
When the standard lead time would hold up your job, we can ship the parts overnight for an added freight charge. You choose between the faster delivery and the lower freight cost before the order is placed.

XCMG, SAS & Aftermarket Parts Shipped Nationwide
Our parts department carries a full line of XCMG and SAS parts and orders aftermarket parts for most other makes. A part number or the name of the failed assembly is enough to start an order. When you only know the symptom, choose Service or repair in the request form instead, and a technician identifies the failed part at the machine before anything is ordered.

What a Parts Quote Needs
Send the machine’s brand, model, and serial number with the part number or a description of the assembly, and add a photo of the part or the serial plate if you can. Our parts department then confirms the correct part, the price, and the delivery date by phone or text before anything is ordered.

When a shop job or a wait for parts will keep your machine down, we put a comparable machine from our rental fleet on your jobsite so your operators keep working. When the fleet has a machine that fits, we match your attachments and quick coupler. Choose “Discuss a temporary rental” in the service request, and we plan the repair and the rental together.
Add a rental to your service requestRenting a Machine for a Separate Job
Our rental fleet runs from mini excavators to 50-ton mining trucks. We rent mostly by the month to contractors and commercial operators, not to homeowners. Some large machines have a three-month minimum. If a machine rented from us breaks down and we cannot repair it the same day, we prorate the rent for the days it was down.

The details below tell us which technician to send and which parts to load on the truck for the first trip to the machine. If you do not have a diagnosis or some of the numbers, call or send the request anyway, and the service team schedules it the same way.
Start a service requestMachine Make, Model & Serial Number
Give the make, model, and size, plus the serial number from the plate on the frame. The serial number tells the technician and the parts department exactly which build of the machine they are working on.
Symptoms, Fault Codes & Earlier Repairs
Say what the machine does or will not do, any fault code on the display, and any repair already tried. For a parts order, give the part number or describe the assembly.
Location, Mobility & Site Access
Give the site address or the nearest town, and say whether the machine can move under its own power. List any gate code, badge, escort, or mine safety training the technician needs to reach it.
Service & Parts Request
Send the machine’s make and model, where it is, and what it is doing, with a phone number or email address for the reply. Our service team calls or texts you back to schedule the technician. For a parts request, our parts department replies with the part, the price, and the delivery date.
We answer requests sent after hours the next day. When a machine is down during the workday, a phone call is the fastest way to get a truck scheduled.
Call or text(775) 625-0062Service & Parts Questions
The service team answers repair questions, and the parts department answers parts questions. You reach both by calling or texting the same number.
Call or text (775) 625-0062Yes. Our technicians repair XCMG, Caterpillar, Case, and most other makes, wherever the machine was bought. Our parts department stocks XCMG and SAS parts and orders aftermarket parts for most other machines, so one shop can handle the repairs and the parts for a mixed fleet.
Our trucks leave from our yard in Fernley, east of Reno on I-80. They work anywhere in Nevada, including Reno, Carson City, and the mine sites along I-80. In California, they work from Sacramento south to Bakersfield, and they also go to Bishop and Mammoth Lakes.
No. The price depends on what the technician finds at the machine. We use the form to plan the visit and load the right tools and parts, and we price the repair after the diagnosis and before any part is ordered.
Send what you have, and the service team tells you what else it needs. The detail most often missing is the serial number on the plate on the frame. When you cannot get to the plate, the technician reads the number at the machine.
Text (775) 625-0062 with the machine, what it is doing, and where it is, and attach photos if you have them. The office answers texts to that number the same way it answers calls. You can also send the request form on this page from your phone.
We do not have a web store. You can order parts by calling or texting (775) 625-0062, or by choosing Parts in the request form on this page. The parts department confirms the price and the delivery date before anything is ordered.
